ANNOUNCING NEW CERTIFICATION TRAINING FOR LAY LEADERS OF MARRIAGE PREPARATION WORKSHOPS ON THE INTERNET
FAMILY LIFE OFFICE announces a Marriage Preparation Certification Training program for lay leaders and presenters. Due to the distances within our diocese and the fact that all these presenters are volunteering their time and talents the training will be provided in modules on the diocesan webpage. In order to assure that parish and deanery teams are certified as stated in the marriage guidelines we are asking all those already on teams, and any new couples invited to the team, to read the ten (10) power point modules found here and return the evaluation form to our office. A certificate will be provided which can be presented to the pastor and/or team lead couple in any parish. We hope this will encourage new couples to participate in this very vital ministry with a sense of competency and basic understanding of the Church’s teaching on the sacrament.
