Counseling
Sometimes the stresses of daily life can be overwhelming. The Diocesan Family life Office, collaborating with the Tribunal and the Social Services office, provides referral lists of counselors in some deaneries. Individuals, couples and families who are seeking help to identify and clarify issues which may be causing stress can contact the counselors directly or ask for a referral from the pastor or principal. The purpose of counseling is to help clients learn skills or techniques that also can be successfully used in future situations. Our parishes, schools and social service agencies can provide informational brochures with names of counselors for families, couples and individuals.
Brochures for the Savannah and Macon deaneries are available below. For counselors in the other deaneries please contact the Family Life office or your parish priest.
