New Priest Assignments

Most Reverend J. Kevin Boland, Bishop of Savannah, has announced the following clergy assignments. The effective date will be July 2, 2008.

Reverend Monsignor P. James Costigan – Appointed Pastor of St. Peter the Apostle Church, Savannah.

Reverend Thomas J. Peyton – Appointed Pastor of St. Michael Church, Tybee Island.

Reverend Robert A. Girardeau – Appointed Pastor of St. Mary Church, Americus.

Reverend Brian LaBurt, GHM – Appointed Pastor of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Columbus, and its mission of St. Mary Magdalen, Buena Vista.

Reverend J. Roberto Mena, S.T. – On presentation of Very Reverend John S. Edmunds, S.T., General Custodian of the Missionary Servants of the Most Holy Trinity, appointed Pastor of St. Joseph Church, Bainbridge and its mission, Church of the Incarnation, Donalsonville.

Reverend Benjamin Dallas – Appointed Parochial Vicar of Blessed Sacrament Church, Savannah.

Reverend John C. Markham – Appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Frances Cabrini Church, Savannah.

Reverend Martino Bá Thông Nguyen – Appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Anne Church, Columbus.

Reverend Mark N. Van Alstine – Appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Mary on the Hill Church, Augusta.

Reverend Justin R. Ferguson – Appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Joseph Church, Macon.

Reverend Mariusz K. Fuks – Appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Peter the Apostle Church, Savannah.

Reverend Gaspar Hegedüs – Appointed Parochial Vicar of St. Teresa of Avila Church, Grovetown.
