About Us
The Office of Stewardship and Development includes the following responsibilities:
- Parish and Diocesan Stewardship Programs
- Bishop's Annual Appeal
- Diocesan Capital Campaigns
- Catholic Foundation of South Georgia
PARISH AND DIOCESAN STEWARDSHIP PROGRAM:
- Provides assistance to parishes conducting initial or renewal Stewardship efforts through meetings with Pastors, Pastoral Councils, Stewardship Committees Lay Witness Presenters
- Provides materials to assist parishes with the above
BISHOP ANNUAL APPEAL:
- Conducts the Bishop’s Annual Appeal (BAA) which provides financial support to ministries that touch all aspects of diocesan and parish life. Check the BAA Progress.
DIOCESAN CAPITAL CAMPAIGN:
- Oversees all diocesan capital campaigns
CATHOLIC FOUNDATION OF SOUTH GEORGIA:
- Directs the operational aspects of the Catholic Foundation of South Georgia, a non-profit, independent charitable foundation that exists to advance charitable giving that supports religious, charitable and educational works of the Diocese of Savannah.
