Dear Diocese of Savannah faithful,
Faced with unprecedented times of uncertainty and challenges, the Diocese of Savannah has made the difficult decision to place the 2020 Sowing the Seeds Annual Catholic Appeal (ACA) on a temporary and mindful hold.
Every year, the faithful in South Georgia donate to the ACA to support crucial agencies and services throughout the entire Diocese. While the need to support these ministries is more important than ever, our immediate focus is with the churches that rely on a weekly offertory.
This year’s annual appeal had a wonderful start in January with more donors than ever before making their gift online. As of today, the appeal is close to 50% toward its goal of $2.6 million dollars with over 3,000 donors already making a gift.
Donors who have already made their commitment and wish to continue their monthly pledge, we are grateful for the generous support. If you have questions about an existing pledge, please email us using the link below.
We will resume the Annual Catholic Appeal as soon as we can in order to support the vital programs in our Diocese and we are confident you will join us in supporting our growing ministries. With God all things are possible.
Please make payable to the Diocese of Savannah and indicate your parish on the memo line.
