The Office of Marriage, Family and Respect Life and the Office of Youth Ministry will be co-sponsoring a bus for transportation to the Washington DC March for Life.
Transportation will be on a charter bus departing from the Savannah area (location to be determined) at 8:00 PM, Thursday January 17th and will arrive in Washington DC at 6:30 AM Friday morning. The bus will unload passengers at the Rally and will not return until time to depart at 8:00 PM (From a location on the Mall) Friday night to return to Savannah. The bus will return to Savannah between 6 AM and 7 AM Saturday morning. The bus will not be scheduled to stop on either the trip to Washington DC or the trip back to Savannah so we suggest you bring snacks for the bus ride to include breakfast.

The Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry will send a request for the total number of tickets requested to the Archdiocese of Washington DC.
Placing a ticket order does not guarantee that your group will receive the number of tickets it requests. Due to the increased demand for tickets and the desire of the Archdiocese to provide space for all dioceses who request tickets, each diocese will most likely receive a lesser amount of tickets than they registered for. If this happens, the Office will allot tickets to groups based on the percentage of tickets received. Those who have ordered transportation through the Diocese will get tickets first and then all other tickets will be divided as needed.
Shortly after we receive notification from the Archdiocese of Washington DC on the number of tickets we will receive (early to mid November), each group registered by the October 25th deadline will be notified with the number of tickets they will receive.
Each group will then have until January 4th to organize their group and secure the number of people for the tickets reserved in their name. On January 7th, the Office of Youth will contact each group to obtain their final number and mail groups the appropriate number of tickets. Any remaining tickets not needed by groups will be made available to groups that may need extra tickets or returned to the Archdiocese of Washington.
