Direct Services Manager, Family Advancement Ministries (FAM)
Family Advancement Ministries (FAM) is a Catholic, diocesan, social service organization that, in partnership with the community at-large, nurtures a reverence for life, especially the poor, by responding to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of families in crisis with the goals of moving families toward independence and self-sufficiency.
Direct Services Manager, 30 hours/week
The Direct Services Manager is responsible for leading and managing a comprehensive array of services and programs at FAM directed at service to the poor. This position will lead staff and volunteers in our outreach, support and volunteer services. He/She will review services being offered and, with other FAM staff, develop new programs as needs emerge. He/She will be responsible for all activities pertaining to financial support and crisis management for FAM clients, and certain service contracts. The position will inform the executive director, and ultimately the board of directors, of all direct services program issues and accomplishments. The manager will assist the Executive Director in planning, organizing, and implementing public and private fund-raising initiatives and large-scale events.
