Computer Technician


The Catholic Diocese of Savannah has an opening for a full-time Information Technology Technician. This position reports to the Director of Information Technology and is responsible providing support for local and remote workers in Savannah, GA. Specifically this position supports mobile devices used by staffers at the Catholic Pastoral Center, works with VMWare, Windows Server 2019, Microsoft Office 365 Cloud as well as Mitel Voice/Phone systems.

This position will be trained as a back-up for the director, able to assume additional responsibilities as skill and training is developed.

Candidates must be able to trouble shoot and problem solve, have a strong sense of customer service and be able to offer technical support and training to staff members at a variety of skill levels.

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of advanced education, a BS in Information Technology is preferred, and 3 years’ experience. Work experience in a non-profit environment is highly desirable.
