Family Advancement Ministries (FAM) is a Catholic, diocesan, social service organization that, in partnership with the community at-large, nurtures a reverence for life by responding to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of families with the goals of moving families toward independence and self-sufficiency has an opening for a Direct Services Manager. This position reports to the Executive Director.
Reporting to the Executive Director, the Direct Services Manager is responsible for leading and managing a comprehensive array of services and programs at FAM. The Direct Services Manager will lead staff and volunteers in our outreach, support and volunteer services. She/he will review, on an ongoing basis, services being offered and in conjunction with other FAM staff develop new programs as needs emerge. She/he will be responsible for all activities pertaining to financial support and crisis management for FAM clients, volunteer activities, and certain contracts. The Direct Services Manager will inform the executive director, and ultimately the board of directors, of all direct services program issues and accomplishments.
The Direct Services Manager will collaborate with FAM staff on information technology, quality improvement, and FAM communications—while also being responsible for all Direct Services program planning, organizing, operating, and staffing. She is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing the Direct Services program aspects of the annual budget in conjunction with the Executive Director. She is responsible for ensuring that FAM’s Direct Services comply with all federal, state, funding, and city regulations, certifications, and licensing requirements. Finally, the Direct Services manager will assist the Executive Director in planning, organizing, and implementing public and private fund-raising initiatives and large-scale events.
