The Executive Assistant serves as a support team member to the Office of Evangelization and Discipleship. This person is responsible for supporting the ministries and functions of the Office and assisting to advance the mission of discipleship and evangelization to all diocesan parishes and schools. This person will present a welcoming, hospitable first point of contact for people seeking assistance and/or information. This person will be responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.
Candidates must be a practicing Catholic in full communion with the Church and possess a deep knowledge and understanding of Roman Catholic teachings, structure and traditions.
A high school diploma is required; certificate or degree from an accredited college/university is preferred along with 2-5 years of experience in administrative work, event planning or ministry in a parish or school. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
