Development Director, St Matthew Catholic Church

  Hourly Pay: $17/Hr for 20 hours per week (annual salary of $17,680)

• Summary

  A part-time Development Director who reports to the Pastor while working in conjunction with the Parish Administrator

• Responsibilities

  Research and implement best practices for Campus Ministry Student and Alumni Development. Responsible for student and alumni database and outreach.

• Develops contacts with Catholic Eagles Alumni to build database.
• Maintains Catholic Eagles alumni and student database.
• Assists in planning activities for current campus ministry students.
• Responsible for the administration of electronic giving, fundraising, and planned giving for Catholic Eagles Alumni.
• Attends MPD training and implements best practices based on training.
• Provides administrative support for FOCUS missionary team and Catholic Eagles.
• Researches strategies for alumni networking and develops plan for implementation.
• Coordinate with diocesan, parish, pastor, student leaders, and FOCUS missionary team to plan events, mission trips, and retreats.
• Assist with development of Alumni communications, including social media, newsletters, and other forms of communication.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business/marketing.
• Demonstrated experience in appropriate computer technology.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience handling confidential, sensitive matters.
• Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.
