Director, St. Anne Community Outreach


Position Requirements

A Catholic in good standing with the Church and possess knowledge of Catholic social and justice teachings. Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong organizational skills as well as the ability to multi-task. Some experience in financial management and budgeting is also required.

General Description

This position oversees a ministry that provides food, clothing, and shelter assistance to people in poverty. Through Grocery Distribution, Clothing Closet, Success Return to Work, Eviction Prevention Clinic and Utility/Prescription Assistance programs more than 14,000 individuals were served last year.

Position Responsibilities

The Director, with a faithful and positive attitude, represents the Catholic Church when interacting with clients, volunteers and community and is responsible for:
  • Manages the Outreach Center – facility and equipment
  • Recruit, train and manage staff
  • Recruit and train volunteers
  • Responsible for annual budget
  • Keep accurate financial records
  • Produce an Annual Report
  • Conduct quarterly board meetings
  • Secure funding through private, local and government grant opportunities
  • Community relations to promote acquisition of donated or low- cost food, clothing and other necessary items.
  • Serve on committees of other community agencies as representative of St. Anne Community Outreach
  • Maintain social media and website presence
  • Produce brochures and other print materials as needed and required by funders

Position Qualifications

Qualified candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in social work or community service work, hold a bachelor’s degree in a related area of expertise and have work experience in a general management function.

Bi-lingual in Spanish and English is preferred, but not required.

Candidates must have a valid Georgia driver’s license and be available for some evening and weekend work.


Some light lifting as needed.
