“It was the first time I had witnessed religious sisters,” Sr. Helene Therese recalls the first year she attended one of the Diocese of Savannah’s vocations camp. “‘Lord, what is your plan of love for me?’ I had never asked the question before.” Now a Carmelite Sister of the Most Sacred Heart of Los Angeles, she encourages people to learn to be with Jesus. “Our Lord knows the desires of our hearts. He will reveal [one’s vocation] in His time.”
